Abstract of the Will of Richard Smallwood of Bron haeli in the Parish of Llandegfan in the County of Anglesey, Farmer, written 28 Jan 1826, proved 12 Jun 1827, probate granted 4 Aug 1827.
Gives and bequeaths £60 to his son Richard Smallwood in addition to other sums of money he may lend him. He also gives his said son the bed he now sleeps in along with the bedding.
Gives and bequeaths £10 to his daughter Anne now the wife of William Owen of Holyhead.
Gives and bequeaths 2s. 6d. each to his son Robert Smallwood and his daughter Elizabeth Smallwood.
All the rest and remainder of his money, farming stock, household furniture, goods and chattels he gives and bequeaths to his granddaughter Ellin, daughter of his daughter Ellin by William Morris, and his grandson John Hervey, son of his deceased daughter Mary Hervey, share and share alike, subject to his executors keeping, supporting and maintaining his wife Ellin Smallwood in a decent manner during her life.
He directs that if his granddaughter Ellin Morris dies before she turns eighteen then he gives her share to her mother for her own use independent of her husband.
Nominates, constitutes and appoints his said granddaughter Ellin Morris and his said grandson John Hervey executrix and executor of his last will and testament.
