Mark Knapp of Market Street Liskeard Borough, widow of Robert Knapp, a master chandler, died aged 66 years as a result of pleuro-pneumonia. Present at death was Catherine Uren of Moons Court Liskeard Borough. 3
Mary was probably living with one of her sons in the immediate period before her death in 1863 in Liskeard. Sons Francis, Robert and John were living in Liskeard during the 1850s. Mary's eldest son, Francis, was still in Liskeard the year his mother died, so it is likely she was staying with him. Francis emigrated to Scotland; Robert, Esther and John emigrated to the U.S.A., whilst William stayed in Cornwall.
Mary Knapp died aged 66 years (cemetery record).
