Shown as daughter of William Craze and Mary in the christening record; however, no marriage record exists for a William Craze and Mary. In the 1841 Census, Mary Ann was at home with her mother Ann. Her parents were with her in the 1851 Census (see below). William Craze and Ann were married in 1817, so Ann could not have been William's second wife.
