William Jones of Sgubor hen was named in the Will of his father-in-law John Lloyd Thomas of Dynanney in the Parish of Llanystumdwy, Gent. (written 1841) as husband of his daughter Elizabeth.
In 1851 William Jones (61) of Ciedio Caernarvon, farmer of 110 acres employing 4 labourers, and wife Elizabeth (54) of Llangybi, were living in Ysgubor hen Llanystymdwy. Present was son John Lloyd Jones (29) of Llanystymdwy.
