Abstract of the Will of Griffith Owen of Dolgelley, written 20 Dec 1789, inventory taken 9 Mar 1791, proved 12 Sep 1791.

Gives & devises to his only son Griffith Owen now rector of Llanenddwyn all his freehold messuage & tenement with appurtenances in the parish of Dolgelley called Gilfachwydd.

Gives & bequeaths to his grandsons Griffith & Hugh Owen £800 due to him by mortgage upon the tenements of Cefn Cumberth Llechwydd in the parish of Celynin, being the Estate of John Cambell Esqr.

Gives & bequeaths £500 to his granddaughter Mary Owen how due to him by mortgage upon the Estate of John Lloyd of Brin ---ith Gentleman in Trawsfynydd

Appoints his granddaughter Mary Owen as sole residuary legatee of all his goods chattels credits & effects

Nominates constitutes & appoints his son Griffith Owen sole Executor of his last will and testament.
