In 1835 Hester Maskelyne Hopkin was named as a beneficiary in the Will of her maternal grandmother Hester Hawkins of Oaksey, widow.
In 1861 Hester M. Jenkins, aged 40, born in Oaksey Wilts, and husband Oliver R. Jenkins, aged 47, born in St. Brides Glamorgan, were visiting Oliver's brother John Jenkins and his family in St. Bride-super-Ely Glamorgan.
In 1871 Hester M. Jenkins, aged 50, born in Oaksey Wiltshire, and husband Oliver R. Jenkins, aged 57, born in St. Brides super Ely, retired seed merchant, were lodging in Windsor Road, Penarth Glamorgan. With them was Oliver's niece Cecil Jenkins (25) of St. Brides super Ely.
In 1881 Hester M. Jenkins, aged 60, born in Oaksey Wiltshire, and husband Oliver R. Jenkins, aged 67, born in St. Brides Glamorgan, retired farmer, were living at 32 Windsor Terrace, Penarth Glamorgan.

In October 1891 Hester Maskelyne Jenkins of Tel-el-Kebir House in Plymouth Road, Penarth, widow, was the sole executrix of her late husband's personal estate.
