Abstract of the Will of Leonard Hawkins of Oaksey in the County of Wilts, Gentleman, written 20 Apr 1819, proved 5 Feb 1820. 4
Gives, devises & bequeaths in trust to Jasper Maskelyne of Wootton Bassett, gent., all his freehold and leasehold tenements and farm lands in Oaksey and his share of leasehold lands in Wootton Bassett in co. Wilts, the rents and profits from them to for the use and benefit of his wife Hester Hawkins and her heirs.
Gives and bequeaths his farming and dairy stock implements to his daughter Lucy Rumboll wife of Evan Hopkin.
All the rest and residue of his estate and effects he gives to his wife.
Appoints the said Jasper Maskelyne sole executor of his last will and testament.
