...Ebenezer Lingard, gunsmith, was charged under the Explosives Act, 1875, with having 39 pounds excess of gunpowder.—A penalty of £1 1s. was inflicted, and the powder ordered to be forfeited.—Defendant: They gave me the powder back last time.
