Abstract of the Will of Sarah Hester Bristed of 27 Rutland Street Hampstead Road in the County of Middlesex, Widow, written 20 Jun 1851, proved 4 Dec 1851. 4

Gives and bequeaths all her furniture, household goods, linen, wines, spirits, housekeeping stores, china, glass, prints, pictures, and plate equally between her stepdaughter Fanny the wife of John Tullet of Tottenham Court Road in co. Middlesex victualler, her stepson Henry Richard Bristed, and her son John Bristed. Also gives to each of them a legacy of £100

Gives and bequeaths her wearing apparel to her aunt Jane Corcoran of 5 Berkeley Court Berkeley Street in the parish of St. James Clerkenwell in co. Middlesex, widow. And if Jane should die within her lifetime, she gives and bequeaths the same to Rosina the wife of [blank] Clark of 14 Hall Street City Road Middlesex, cabinet maker, and Elizabeth Corcoran the daughter of the said Jane Corcoran.

Gives all her books to her son John Bristed.

Gives a legacy of £25 to her cousins the said Rosina Clark and Elizabeth Corcoran, to be equally divided between them.

Gives and bequeaths £25 to Henry Flube? son of her uncle Thomas Flube? and Catherine his wife, both deceased.

Gives and bequeaths the residue and remainder of her personal estate and effects to her son John Bristed.

Appoints the said Henry Richard Bristed and John Buckmaster of Hungerford Market in the parish of St. Martin, victualler, co-executors of her last will, bequeathing to John Buckmaster 19 guineas as a token of her regard.
