“Didasco Moniz...cum coniuge mea Tegridia” founded the monastery of San Román de Entrepeñas by charter dated 940, witnessed by “Tegridia...Monmo, Gomez, Ieluira, Ossorio...”. "…Gomez Monniz comes…Gomes Didaz…" subscribed the charter dated 26 Apr 960 under which Sancho King of Castile donated property to Sahagún. "Ranimiro rex et Gelbira reina domna" donated property to the monastery of Sahagún by charter dated 11 May 971, confirmed by "…Gomic Didaci…". “Nebzanus Didaci comes, Garsea Fernandiz comes, Gomiz Didaz comes, Osoiro Didaz comes, Ablauelli Gudesteoz, Gomice Fredinandiz...” confirmed the charter dated 12-13 Nov 971 under which “Abholkacem Arias” donated “uilla...in Uilla Cesane” to the monastery of San Martín de Valdepueblo. “...Gomiz Didaci...Fredinandus Didaci...Nunus Didaci, Nepzanus Didaci, Froila Didaz...” confirmed the charter dated 21 Jul 974 under which King Ramiro III donated the monastery of Santos Justo y Pastor de Rozuela to Ariendo monastery, previously granted to “condam Sendino presbitero, Puricelly pigno qui hunc pontifice tum sedis huius tenens compto”. “...Gomize Didaci...Osorius Didaci...Nepotianus Didaci...” confirmed the charter dated 10 Dec 975 under which King Ramiro III donated “hereditatem de duobus fratribus...Salbator et Mahamuthi”, which had been confiscated for homicide, to “Sauaricus diaconus”. Although there appears to be no direct proof that all these entries relate to the Conde de Saldaña, the documents refer to other individuals who appear to be members of his family, in particular those of 27 Nov 986 (his supposed sister Guntrodo and brother-in-law Ablavel Godestéiz) and 1 Sep 986 (his supposed brother Osorio Díaz).
Conde de Liébana: the dating clause of a charter dated 26 Apr 977, relating to the monastery of Piasca in Liébana, refers to "regnante rex Rademiro in Legione et comite Gomizi Diaz in Libana". 1
