In 1861 Ann Pugh (30) of Llanddwywe and husband Hugh Pugh (34) of Talyllyn, farmer of 890 acres employing 3 boys, were living in Rhiwogof Cedris Merioneth. Present were children (born in Talyllyn): Margaret (8), Elizabeth (6), Sarah A. (3), Jane A. (2), John O. (5 mo). [Brother John Jones and his family were living nearby in Maesypandy.]
In 1871 Anne Pughe (40) of Llanddwywe and husband Hugh Pughe (43) of Talyllyn, farmer of 900 acres employing 2 men and a boy, were living in Rhiwogo Talyllyn. Present were children (born in Talyllyn): Margaret S. (18), Elizabeth (16), John O. (10), scholar, Sarah A. (8), scholar, Richard J. (6), Jane A. (4)
In 1881 Anne Pugh (50), married, farmer's wife, was with her mother Margaret Jones (91), widow, retired farmer's wife, in Jerusalem Chapel House, Trawsfynydd. The rest of her family were in Towyn Merioneth (husband Hugh, 53, farmer of 4 acres, daughter Lizzie, 26, daughter Sarah. A., 18, son Richard H. [sic], 16, scholar, daughter Jane A. (14), scholar, son Robert W., 9, scholar).
In 1891 Anne Pugh (60) of Trawsfynydd and husband Hugh Pugh (64) of Talyllyn, farmer, were living in Penbryn, Towyn. Present were daughter Sarah (28) of Talyllyn, single, [husband's] nephew & niece John H. Davies (10) & Sarah J. Davies (9), both born in London.
In 1901 Anne Pugh (70) of Trawsfynydd and husband Hugh Pugh (74) of Talyllyn, farmer, were living on Penbryn farm in Towyn. Present were daughters (born in Talyllyn, both single): Elizabeth (47), Sarah A. (38).
