Sources

1 At first it seemed that this John Richard was the son of Richard Evan of Ffridd bryn coch, christened in Trawsfynydd on 11 Apr 1725 (Johannes filius Richardi Evan de Fryth bryn coch & Elizabethæ uxor:) and therefore a half-brother of Evan Richard of Ffridd bryn coch who died there in 1811. However, in the Will of Robert Richard of Hendremawr in Trawsfynydd (written 1800, proved 1803) he appoints his brother Evan Richard of Ffridd bryn coch as the sole executor after having made bequests to the surviving children (unnamed) of his late brother John Richard.

It is possible that the John Richard shown on this page was somehow related to the above family, but if so, the connection is to-date unclear.
