At the time of the 1891 England Census Annie Gravett, aged 20, born in Hailsham Sussex, was working as a cook in Eastbourne Sussex. Annie's sister Lilly was with her working as a housemaid.
At the time of the 1901 England Census Annie R Prangnell, aged 29, born in Hailsham Sussex, and husband Charles Prangnell, aged 33, born in [Surbiton] Surrey, twine maker, were living at 11 Gordon Rd., Hailsham St. Mary. With them were children (born in Hailsham): Charles (7), at school, and James (6), at school.
At the time of the 1911 England Census Annie R Prangnell, aged 41, born in Hailsham Sussex (mother of 3 children), and husband of 18 years Charles Prangnell, aged 33, born in Surbiton Surrey, twine maker, were living at 13 London Rd., Hailsham. With them were children (born in Hailsham) Chas. William (17), mat maker, James Arthur (16), assistant upholsterer, and Ethel (9).
In the 1939 Register Anne R Prangnell (b. 9 Feb 1871), unpaid domestic duties, and husband Charles Prangnell (b. 18 Feb 1867), rope & twine maker, were living in London Rd., Hailsham Sussex. At the same address was [daughter] Ethel Prangnell (b. 13 Oct 1901), single, land agent's clerk.

Hailsham Golden Wedding.
Well-known residents of Hailsham, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Prangnell, of 6, London-road, celebrated their golden wedding on Tuesday. The unique anniversary was marked by a family gathering, attended by their two sons, daughter and three grand-children. Their marriage took place on December 22nd, 1892, at St. Mary's Parish Church, Hailsham, the then curate, the Rev. J. W. Clay, performing the ceremony. Although neither Mr. or Mrs. Prangnell were born at Hailsham, they have spent the greater part of their lives in the town. Mr. Prangnell is known to older cricketers in the district for he was a wicket-keeper for the Hailsham Club for a number of years.
