In 1606 Thomas Taylor of Heathfield was one of the overseers of the Will of his brother-in-law Adam Cosham of Waldron.
In 1613 Thomas Tayler was the sole executor of his father's Will.
In 1626 Thomas Tayler of Heathfield, yeoman, one of the sons of John Tayler, was bequeathed all the lands, messuages, tenements and woods belonging to his uncle Thomas Tayler of Battle which the latter had purchased of Nicholas Panckherst of Heathfield.
