In 1791 Richard Evan of Aberdaunant was granted Administration of his late mother's personal estate.

Bequeathed £3 in the Will of his maternal uncle Robert Richard of Cefnmawr (written 1800) whom he calls Richard Richard.

Abstract of the Will of Richard Evans of Aberdaunant in the Parish of Llandecwyn in the County of Merioneth, farmer, written 3 May 1834, proved 13 May 1839. ²

Gives and bequeaths 1 shilling to each of his children: his sons Robert Evans, Edmund Evans, David Evans, John Evans and his daughters Elianor Evans and Mary Evans.

All the rest and residue of his personal estate and effects he gives and bequeaths to his wife Elianor Evans for the term of her natural life, nominating and appointing her sole Executrix of his last will and testament.
