Abstract of the Will of Thomas Tayler of Heathfield in the County of Sussex, Weaver, written 11 Nov 1608, proved 18 Jan 1609. ³

Wills that his body be buried in the Heathfield parish churchyard.

Gives £5 each to his three sons Walter Tayler, John Tayler and Thomas Tayler, to be paid to them when they turn 21.

Gives each of his children a ewe and a lamb.

All the rest of his goods &c he gives to his wife whom he appoints his sole executrix.

Appoints his brothers-in-law Moses Tyerst and John Wood as overseers of his will.
