Gives £100 to his wife Mary, along with an annuity of £5, a feather bed, steddle matt and cord, curtains and vallence, two pair of his best sheets, a porridge pot, an iron pot, a skillet, a small joined table, three middling pewter dishes, three pewter porringers, two smoothing irons, a warming pan, a joined chest and the trunk that was here when she was a maiden.
Gives £100 to his kinsman John Durrant (son of Thomas Durrant of Heathfield, yeoman), to be paid to him when he turns twenty-one.
Gives £100 to his kinswoman Dorothy the wife of Thomas Adds of Ticehurst co. Sussex, hollow turner.
Gives and bequeaths to his brother-in-law the said Thomas Durrant of Heathfield, yeoman, a guinea, which is to say, 22 shillings.
Gives £2 10s. to the poor people of the parish of Battle.
Gives £5 to his niece Ann Bartholmor (daughter of John Bartholmor of Bexhill, husbandman).
All the rest of his goods &c. he gives and bequeaths to his kinsman Thomas Durrant (son of Thomas Durrant of Heathfield aforesaid, yeoman), making him sole executor of his last will and testament.
