Abstract of the Will of Nathan Taylor of Heathfield in the County of Sussex, Yeoman, written 3 May 1658, proved 4 Oct 1662. 4
Gives & bequeaths to his wife Anne Taylor his house and garden and associated lands called Sicklehatch for the term of her natural life. After her decease he gives the same to his youngest son James Taylor.
Also gives to his wife Anne £20, twelve bushells of wheat, eight bushells of corn malt, half his household stuff, and a heifer.
Gives 10 shillings each to his grandchildren Anne & Alice Tysehurst, to be paid to them when they turn twenty-one.
Gives 12 pence to his eldest son Nathaniel Taylor.
Gives 12 pence to his daughter Anne Wallett / Woollett.
All the rest of his goods, chattels &c. he gives to his son James Taylor whom he makes sole executor of his last will and testament.
