In 1619 Margery wife of Jacob Prior received £7 from her late father's Will.
In 1634 Margery Prior daughter of James Taylor received £5 from the Will of her late uncle Thomas Taylor of Battle.
In 1638 Margery Pryor's sister, Susan Taylor of Heathfield, left Margery her coats, hat and waistcoats.

Sussex, yeoman, to Jacob Prier of Heathfield, laborer, and Margery his wife of 6 rods of ground of the Downe Crofte which was "nuely" taken in and inclosed by James Taylor of Heathfield late deceased, father of the said Thomas Taylor, and then in the tenure of the said Jacob Prier and Margery, upon which they had erected a cottage to dwell in, bounding to land of the said T.T. called the Pound Crofte, S. and the highway from Heathfield church to Burwash, W. and to other part of the Downe Crofte, N. and E. Term, 99 years and then 999 years. Rent a peppercorn.
