In 1619 Susan received 40 shillings from her late father's Will, along with a annuity or yearly rent of 26 shillings paid out of his lands and tenements in Heathfield.

In 1634 Susan Taylor daughter of James Taylor received £5 from the Will of her late uncle Thomas Taylor of Battle.

Wills to be buried in the Heathfield parish churchyard.

Gives & bequeaths 5 shillings to her brother William Tayler.

Gives & bequeaths 5 shillings to her brother Nathan Tayler.

Gives & bequeaths 20 shillings to Thomas Tayler son of John Tayler of Battle.

Gives & bequeaths 20 shillings to Joane Tayler.

Gives & bequeaths £5 to Elizabeth Tayler, as well as three chests with their contents excepting bonds of money. Also gives to her all her pewter, two kettles, two posnetts: an iron one and a brass one, a woolen trendle, a peeler, a cage.

Gives & bequeaths 20 shillings to Mary Tayler.

Gives & bequeaths 20 shillings to Mercy Tayler.

Gives & bequeaths 20 shillings to Anne Tayler.

Gives & bequeaths 10 shillings to John Dearing her godson, son of Christopher Dearing.

Gives 10 shillings to her goddaughter Agnes Pryor.

Gives 5 shillings to her goddaughter Replenished Pryor.

Gives to her sister Margery Pryor her coats, hat, and waistcoats.

Gives 12 pence each to the three sons of William Macklyes.

All the residue of her goods &c she gives to her brother John Tayler whom she makes sole executor of her last will and testament.
