In January 1880 William Green was present at the marriage of his sister Elizabeth Frances Green to George Earl in Maidstone Kent.

At the time of the 1891 England Census William Green, aged 30, born in Boxley Kent, plasterer, and wife Fanny Amelia, aged 28, born in Maidstone Kent, were living at 12 Hills Cottages, London Rd., Maidstone. With them were children (born in Maidstone): Fanny Elizth (8), scholar, Violet Daisy (7), scholar, Ada Edel? (6), Lillian Maud (3), and William Edgar (1).

In June 1900 William Green and his wife Fanny Amelia Green were present at the marriage of William's brother Jesse Green to Clara Brockway in Maidstone Kent.

At the time of the 1901 England Census William Green, aged 40, born in Boxley Kent, plasterer, and wife Fanny A, aged 37, born in Maidstone Kent, were living at 2 Fern Villa, St. Luke's Rd., Maidstone. With them were children (born in Maidstone): Violet D (17), domestic servant, Ada E (15), Lillian M (13), and William E (11).

At the time of the 1911 England Census William Green, aged 50, born in Boxley Kent, builder's plasterer, and wife of 29 years Fanny Amelia, aged 37, born in Maidstone Kent (mother of 5 children), were living at 47 St. Luke's Rd., Maidstone.
