At the time of the 1891 England Census James E Green, aged 37, born in Boxley Kent, single, bricklayer, was lodging at 12 Boxley Rd., Maidstone. With him were [sister] Clara K Green and her young children.
At the time of the 1911 England Census James Edwin Green, aged 54, born in Boxley Kent, single, bricklayer, was lodging at 55 Hectorage Rd., Tonbridge Kent.

The funeral takes place to-day (Friday) of Mr. James Edwin Green, of 38, St. Stephen's-street, who died on Monday at the age of 73 years.
