Writing his Will in November 1749 Richard Bristed of Warbleton, gent, gave to Benjamin Bristed son of his brother James Bristed the use of his farmlands and a share of his stock, corn, hay, husbandry, farm equipment and lands called Crawle farm, Blackhouse land, and Tyhouse marshland.
