In 1620 Samuel the son of Christopher Jurye received 10 shillings from the Will of his maternal grandfather Richard Warrell of Heathfield, husbandman.
In 1638 Samuel Jury was the sole executor and residuary legatee of his father's Will.

Gives 10 shillings to the poor people of the parish of Battle to be distributed among them on the day of his funeral.
Gives £5 to his uncle Josua Jury.
Gives £40 to his nephew Thomas Jury, son of his brother Thomas Jury, to be paid to him when he reaches the age of twenty-one years or at the day of his marriage, whichever comes first.
Gives £20 to his niece Suzan Jury to be paid to her when she reaches the age of twenty-one years or at the day of her marriage, whichever comes first.
Gives £20 to his niece Elizabeth Jury to be paid to her when she reaches the age of twenty-one years or at the day of her marriage, whichever comes first.
Gives and devises to his nephew Samuell Jury the son of Thomas Jury, tailor, his messuages and tenements in Battle with the gardens and appurtenances.
All the rest of his goods and chattels he gives and bequeaths to his brother Thomas Jury whom he makes sole executor of his last will and testament.
Nominates his friends William Walker of Battle, yeoman, and Samuel Hoode of Ashburnham, yeoman, to be overseers of his last will and testament, giving them 10 shillings each for their efforts.
