John Akehurst of Alfriston died aged 77 years (burial record). Note that John's reported age at death would make his birthyear (1751) the same as his older brother of the same name who, christened in Berwick on 8 Dec 1751, is generally accepted to have been the same John Akehurst, infant, buried in Berwick on 3 Apr 1752.
