At the time of the 1901 England Census Thomas E. Luckens, age 30, born in Chelwood Common Sussex, farmer, and wife Priscilla, age 25, born in Lindfield Sussex, were living in Meadowlands, Wivelsfield Sussex. Present were sons (born in Wivelsfield): William (3) and Joseph (5 mo), and brother-in-law Frank Mariner (15) of Chailey, carter on farm.
At the time of the 1911 England Census Thomas E. Luckens, age 40, born in Chelwood Sussex, farmer & grazier, and wife of 14 years Priscilla, age 35, born in Lindfield (mother of 4 children), were living in Meadow Land Farm, Wivelsfield Sussex. With them were children (born in Wivelsfield): William (13), school - part-time, Joseph (10), school - part-time, Naomi (4) and Ruth (7 months).
In the 1939 Register Thomas E Luckens (b. 27 Jul 1869*), farmer, and wife Priscilla J Luckens (b. 23 May 1875), unpaid domestic duties, were living in Freshfield Place Farm Scaynes Hill, Scayne's Hill, Sussex.
