James Crase of Gwithian died intestate. Thomas Crase of Gwithian in the county of Cornwall, tinner, John Cock & Chas. Hocking both of the same place, yeomen, paid bond of £100 for Administration of the goods and chattels of the said deceased.

On 6 May 1748 inventory and bond upon the Administration of the goods of one James Craze lately intestate deceased, granted to Thomas Craze the natural and lawful son of the said deceased, Jane Craze the widow & relict of the said deceased under her hand & seal first renouncing. 4

An Inventory of the goods and chattels that James Crase of the parish of Gwithian lately deceased died possessed of taken the 30th day of December 1747/8 by us William Stickland & Roger Cock.
