Robert Swan of Lewes, yeoman, writing his Will in Jun 1671, bequeathed £100 to his granddaughter Sarah Nicholas the wife of Thomas Stoner.
Joan Swan of West Hoathly, widow, writing her Will in Dec 1684, bequeathed to the children of her granddaughter Sarah Stoner wife of Thomas Stoner £5 each. Joan also bequeathed to her granddaughters Sarah Stoner wife of Thomas Stoner and Hanah Dungate wife of John Dungate all her household stuff except that which has already been bequeathed.
In 1694 Sarah was co-executor and a residuary legatee of her husband’s Will.
In her father's Will, written 1696, Sarah Stoner the wife of Thomas Stoner late deceased, was bequeathed £40.

Gives £5 each to her daughter Elizabeth Spatchurst and her daughter Gourd*.
Gives, wills and bequeaths to her son John Stoner of London one guinea of gold and one silver spoon.
Gives one shilling to her daughter Hanah.
All the rest of her goods and chattels, bills, bonds, and ready money she gives to her son Thomas Stoner of West Hoathly, making him sole executor of her last will and testament.
