Research Notes:
Writing his Will in February 1742/3 George Woolley als. Gillmore of Wootton Bassett bequeathed £500 to George Woolley als. Gillmore, his son by Hannah. George Woolley Sr. wrote his Will about 10 months after he married the widow Hannah Holderness, making bequests to his two children by her—George and Margaret. The timing points to George Woolley Jr. and possibly also Margaret having been born prior to his/their parents' marriage. George Woolley Jr. was 74 years old when he died, placing his year of birth in 1739/40.
In July 1803 George Woolley was present at the marriage of his son George Woolley to Mary Cox in Tockenham Wilts.
