Gwen Richard of Cymera issa in the parish of Ffestiniog, widow, died intestate in 1796. An inventory of her personal effects was taken on 10 Dec 1796 by Richard Lloyd and Pierce Owen and valued at £99 7s.
Maurice Roberts of Trawsfynydd, yeoman, son of the deceased, Richard David of Ffestiniog, yeoman, and Henry Jones of Ffestiniog, timber merchant, paid bond of £200 for Administration of the goods, chattels & credits of the said Gwen Richard on 13 Dec 1796. Administration was granted to Maurice Roberts on 19 Apr 1797. ²

Named in the Will of her brother Robert Richard of Hendremawr in Trawsfynydd (written 1800) as deceased and to whose surviving children he bequeathed £4. ³
