In May 1880 Ann Mockett of Muddle's Green, widow, was co-executor of the Will of her late husband.
At the time of the 1881 England Census Ann Mockett, age 38, born in Hellingly, butcher's widow, was living in The Warren, Hellingly Sussex. With her were sons Thomas Stephen (14) of Hurstmonceux, scholar, and Arthur Henry Goldsmith (10) of Hailsham, scholar.
At the time of the 1891 England Census Ann Hide, age 48, born in Hellingly, and husband James Hide, age 52, born in Arlington, grocer & . . . . . . . , were living in Wild Bees, Arlington Sussex. With them were James's daughters Alice Hide (17) and Elizabeth Hide (16), and Ann's grandson John T Budgen (2) of Hellingly.
In Oct 1896 Ann Hide was granted Administration of the personal effects of her late husband James Hide of Wilmington.
At the time of the 1901 England Census Ann Hide, age 58, born in Hellingly, widow, was living in Wildbees Rd., Arlington Sussex. With her was granddaughter Nelly Budgen (10) of Hellingly.
