In 1851 Laura Jones (27) of Trawsfynydd and husband David Jones (31) of Llanycil, quarryman labourer, were living in Cefn, Festiniog. Present were children: Joseph Ephraim (7) of Trawsfynydd, John Jones (4) and David Jones (1), both born in Trawsfynydd, brother Griffith Ephraim (18) of Trawsfynydd, quarry man.
In 1861 Lora Jones (38) of Trawsfynydd, widow, merchant, was living in Pantllwyd, Festiniog. Present were children (a) born in Trawsfynydd: Joseph (17), slate quarryman, John (15), and (b) born in Festiniog: Ellin (9), Lora (4), Ann (3).
