In 1881 Robert Evans (37) of Llandecwyn, foreman joiner, and wife Ellin (29) of Cwmyglo (Cwmyflo] Carnarvon were living in Glasfryn Lodge Llanfihangel-y-Traethau. Present were children (born in Talsarnau): John (5), scholar, Ellen Ann (3).

In 1891 Robert Evans (47) of Llanfihangel y Traethau [sic], joiner & Clerk of Works on Estate, and wife Ellin (40) of Carnarvon were living in Tynyllwyn, Llanfihangel-y-Traethau. Present were children (born in Llanfihangel y Traethau): John R. (15), scholar, Ellin Ann (13), scholar, Margaret (9), scholar, Edmund (7), scholar, Robert Richard (4), scholar, William (2).

In 1901 Robert Evans (57) of Llandecwyn, Clerk of Works on Estate, and wife Ellin (50) of Caernarvon were living in Tynyllwyn (Farm), Talsarnau, Merioneth. Present were children (born in Talsarnau): John R. (25), joiner, Ellen Ann (23), Maggie (19), Robert Richard (14), William (12), Richard (10), Blodwen (6).

In 1911 Robert Evans (68) of Llandecwyn, small farmer, and wife of 36 years Ellen (61) of Anglesey (mother of 9 children, 2 deceased) were living in Tynyllwyn, Talsarnau, Merioneth. Present were children (single, born in Tynllwyn): Ellen Ann (33), Robert Richard (25), carpenter or joiner (out of work), Richard (19), engineer's fitter, Blodwen (16).
