To the sheriff of Southampton. Order to cause Eleanor, late the wife of Robert le Estraunge, tenant in chief, to have 30l. yearly of the land in the manor of Chaulton, which belonged to Robert, as the king has committed the said land to her to hold in tenancy until he shall cause dower to be assigned to her.

To the sheriff of Salop, escheator in the same county. Order to cause Eleanor, late the wife of Robert le Estraunge, tenant in chief, to have again seisin of the manor of Whitchurch (de Albo Monasterio), with everything received thence since it was taken into the king's hands, as the king learns by inquisition taken by the sheriff that Robert held the said manor as the inheritance of Eleanor, and in no other wise.

Ratification of a demise made by Ralph de Sandwyco, king's steward, to Eleanor, late the wife of Roger Lestrange, of a fourth part of the manor of Oswestry (de Albo Monasterio), co. Salop, late of William de Albo Monasterio (which fourth part fell to the purparty of Bertreda daughter and one of the heirs of the aforesaid William, and is in the king's hands because she is non compos), to hold at will at a rent of 17l. 12s. its extent.
