A charter dated 6 Sep 986 records the presence of "Fllaymus Munizi, Assurit Munizi, Aita Scemeniz, Uellasgo Muniz, Lalana" when "…Feia…et Domicio…" confirmed a donation to the monastery of Santa Marina. His regular mentions in documents towards the end of the 10th century suggest that he was a supporter of Vermudo II King of León during the civil war in León. "Fredino et uxor mea Leouina" donated land inherited from "suo patre de Leouina" to "Flaino Monizii et uxor vestra Iusta" (presumably for donating to Santa María de Otero de las Dueñas) by charter dated 1 May 987. "Fredino et uxor suam Leobina" sold "terras in…Oretem iusta eglesia Sanctum Andrem" to "Fllayno Munizi et uxorit vestram Iusta Pepizii" [presumably for donation to Santa María de Otero de las Dueñas] by charter dated 15 Jul 991.
