In 1851, Susan Daniel (50) of Camborne and husband Francis Daniel (56) of Camborne, copper mine agent, were living in Rail Road Station, Camborne. Present were sons (born in Camborne): William Rule (17), copper mine agent, John Rule (10), scholar, aunt Mary Behenna Bennett (64) of St. Gluvias, widow, annuitant

In 1861, Susan Daniell (60) of Camborne, widow, was living in Polstrong House, Camborne. Present were son John Rule (20), visitors Julia Bennett (30) of Camborne, unmarried, Celia Garland (37) of Illogan, unmarried

In 1871, Susan Daniell (70) of Camborne, widow, income from private property, was living in Polstrong House, Camborne. Present were visitor Eliza Bucketts (61) of Camborne, widow, teacher in school, and four servants.

In 1881, Susan Daniell (80) of Camborne, widow, mine purser's widow, was living in Polstrong House, Camborne with four servants.
