In 1781 Mary is named as a beneficiary in her father's will.
In 1794 Mary Michell and her sister Margaret Michell were residuary legatees of the will of their aunt Ann Cloak of Penzance, widow.
In 1803 Mary Baynard wife of Thomas Baynard of Penzance, farmer, was a beneficiary of the will of her aunt Constance Warner of Putney, widow, who left her £2,000.
In 1842 Mary Baynard was appointed sole executrix, residuary legatee and devisee of her husband's will.
