Abstract of the Will of Christopher Pender of the Town of Penzance in the County of Cornwall, Merchant, written 23 Mar 1741/2, proved 7 May 1751. 3
Gives £200 to his daughter Mary Pender, to be paid to her when she turns twenty-one.
Gives to his daughter Mary Pender and her heirs all his dwelling houses, outhouses, stables, courtlages, yards, gardens and other hereditaments in the town of Penzance. After her death he gives and devises the same to his nephew John Pender Junr, son of his brother John Pender, and to his heirs male.
Gives to his daughter Mary Pender two fields or closes of land called Parkan Grouse in the town of Penzance, which he lately purchased of Martin Gubbs, gent. If his daughter Mary dies before she turns twenty-one or has any children, then he gives the same to his wife Mary Pender.
Gives to his wife Mary Pender his closes of land, formerly one close of land, called Treneare Close or Field which is in Lescudjack in the parish of Madron.
All the rest of his personal and real estate he gives to his wife Mary Pender whom he appoints sole executrix of his last will and testament.
Nominates his friends Uriah Tonkin of the town of Penzance, merchant, and Thomas Vigurs of the same town, guardians and trustees of his daughter during her minority.
