In September 1892 Susan Laity, widow, was granted Letters of Administration of the personal estate of her late husband.

LAITY.—On the 4th April, at the residence of her son-in-law, railway station, Mortlake, SUSAN LAITY, relict of the late MATTHEW* LAITY, of Tarilta ; aged 80 years.

* Error for Samuel, whose name is correctly shown in the funeral notice. This error was probably due to the fact that eldest son Matthew predeceased his mother, having died in 1901.
