In 1841 Stephen Terrill, aged about 65, born in the county, copper miner, was living in Troon Moor, Camborne, Cornwall. With him were sons James (25), ag. lab., Samuel (15), copper miner, and (granddaughter) Elizabeth Adams (20), F S [farm servant].

Abstract of the Will of Stephen Terrill of the Parish of Camborne in the County of Cornwall, Miner, written 26 Jan 1835, proved 19 May 1845. ²

Gives all his lands, messuages, tenements, goods & chattels to his wife Elizabeth Terrill during her widowhood, appointing her sole executrix of his last will and testament. After her death or re-marriage he gives the same to his sons James and Samuel Terrill, share and share alike.
