Abstract of the Will of Martin Gubbs of the Town of Penzance in the County of Cornwall, Gentleman, written 11 Mar 1770, proved 7 May 1771. 2

Gives £20 to his nephew Christopher Mathews.

Gives £100 to his nephew George Mathews.

Gives £80 to his nephew Thomas Mathews.

Gives £80 to his niece Elizabeth Mathews.

Gives £40 to his niece Ann Mathews.

Gives £40 to his niece Mary Mathews.

Gives an annuity of £6 to his sister Isabella Mathews, widow, for the term of her natural life.

Gives to his sisters Ann Gubbs and Elizabeth Gubbs his dwelling house and premises that he has in fee simple near Market Place in the town of Penzance.

All the rest of his goods, chattels and effects he gives to his said sisters Ann Gubbs and Elizabeth Gubbs, appointing them co-executrices of his last will and testament.
