Items 1 and 2. Parties: 1) Humfry Kempe, esquire, of Blisland 2) John Collins, yeoman, of St Enoder. Lease and counterpart of lands in Penscowen alias Buscowen and Pencorse, St Enoder parish consisting of a house called The Kytchen or Keichen in Penscowen alias Buscowen and a moiety of the land called the Garden on the south side of this; a close called the Well Part and a moor adjoining it on the north side lying next to Pencorse; a close called the Parke Pirrie, part of Pencorse, on the east of the Well Part; a parcel of down part of Pencorse adjoining the Parke Pirrie on the south and the use of land in the town place of Penscowen alias Buscowen and the use of all ways going to the premises for 99 years or three lives.
Item 3. Parties: 1) Humfrie Kempe, esquire, of Blisland 2) Nicholas Peeter, labourer, of St Enoder and Margarett his wife and Walter Watte alias Parkin, son of John Parkin of St Enoder. Lease of quarter part of lands in the town and fields of Penskawen alias Boskawen, St Enoder reserving all houses in Peskawen alias Boskawen and the moiety of a plot of ground called the Gardenne on the south side of a house called the Kitchen and a close called the Well Parke with moor adjoining, now in the tenure of John Collins for 99 years or three lives.

Freely acquitted except for lease of same premises by John Kemp and William Kemp deceased, great grandfather and grandfather of 1) to John Kent for 70 years, 18th June 1541. Rent reserved: £3, 6 shillings and 8 pence. Also settlement by Thomas Kemp deceased, father of 1) for provision for jointure of Thomas Kemp's wife Katherine, 1)'s mother, premises in Dynham conveyed by fine levied by Thomas Kemp to Francis Courteney and John Cavell deceased Courtney and Cavell granted premises back again to Thomas and Katherine Kemp and heir(s) 12th August 1564. Also reversionary lease 1) to 2) of premises to begin day after death of Katherine Kemp or day after end of first recited lease. Rent: £3, 6 shillings and 8 pence. 15th April 1600.
