The Visitation shows Catherine having married, as her second husband, Robert Smith of Tregonack. However, the dating provided is awry, inasmuch as Robert Smith is shown as having died in 1569, three years before the death of Catherine's first husband, Thomas Kempe.
Marriage Information:
Catherine married Thomas Kempe, son of William Kempe of Lavethan and Margaret Smyth, about 1662. (Thomas Kempe was born about 1542 in Lavethan, Blisland, Cornwall and was buried on 23 Mar 1571/2 in Blisland, Cornwall.)
