Abstract of the Will of Nicholas Kempe of Rosteage in the Parish of Gerrans in the County of Cornwall, written 6 Sep 1754, proved 16 May 1768. 14
Gives all his lands, tenements and hereditaments to his brother Charles Kempe of Carsillask, gent. and his sister Ursula Kempe of Rosteage, spinster, in trust, to pay his debts and those of his father Arthur Kempe.
Appoints his siblings Charles Kempe and Ursula Kempe co-executors of his last will and testament.
Gives £900 to his three daughters Mary, Dorothy and Ursula, to be equally divided between them.
Notes in a codicil dated 24 Jun 1765 that his daughter Dorothy has since married to Mr. William Bedford, clerk, and voids her bequest, giving £600 to Mary and Ursula.
