In 1851 Richard Vivian, aged 20, born in Camb. Cornwall, lead miner, was with his parents in Rheidiol Cottage, Parcel Canol, Cardigan, Wales.
In 1871 Richard H. Vivian, aged 39, born in Crowan Cornwall, mine agent, and wife Margaret Vivian, aged 30, born in Paisley Renfrew, were living in Roman Gravels, Shelve, Shropshire. With them were children Margaret J. B. (6) of Worthen Salop, scholar, Seymour (3) of Shelve, William J. (2) of Shelve, John (3 mo) of Shelve.
In 1881 Richard H. Vivian, aged 49, born in Praze Cornwall, lead mine agent, and wife Margaret Vivian, aged 40, born in Scotland, were living in Llanrwst, Denbighshire, Wales. With them were children Margaret J. B. (16) of Hope Shropshire, Seymour (13) of Shelve, telegraph clerk, William J. (12), scholar, John (10), scholar, Frances (7) of Minsterly Shropshire, scholar, Agnes (5) of Minsterly, scholar, and Henry N. (1) of Llanrwst.
In 1889 Richard Henry Vivian of 29 George-street, Llanrwst, mining engineer, was sole executor of his father's will.
