  Research Notes:

In 1841 Joan Tremain, aged 31, and husband William Tremain, aged 26, ag. lab., were living in Brill Leigh, Constantine. Present were daughter Ann (1), female servant Elizabeth Tresidder (20).

In 1850 Johannah Tremayne the wife of William Tremayne was named as a beneficiary in her father's will.

In 1851 Joan Tremayne, aged 41, born in Constantine, and husband William Tremayne, aged 35, born in Constantine, were living in Chegwidden, Constantine. Present were children (born in Constantine): Ann (11), Catherine (7), Grace (4), William (2), house servant Harriott Williams (22) of Wendron.

In 1861 Joan Tremayne, aged 51, born in Constantine, and husband William Tremayne, aged 46, born in Constantine, farmer of 52 acres, were living in Chegwidden, Constantine. Present were children (born in Constantine): Ann (21), Grace (14), scholar, Willm. (11), scholar, Cuthbert (9), scholar.

Present were daughter Catherine Williams (36), stone mason's wife, son-in-law Francis Williams (36) of Wendron, stone-mason, grandchildren (born in Constantine): Henrietta T. 1891 Joan Tremayne, aged 76*, born inConstantine, and husbnd William Tremayne, aged 81*, born in Constantine, farmer, were living in Chegwidden (Farm), Constantine. Present were daughter Ann Winn (51) of Constantine, widow, domestic housekeeper, grandchildren (born in Constantine): Elizabeth E. Winn (19), gen. servant (dom.), Cutbert T. (18), farm labourer.

Joan married William Tremayne, son of Cuthbert Tremayne of Budock and Anne Symons, on 16 Feb 1839 in Constantine, Cornwall. (William Tremayne was born in 1815 in Constantine, Cornwall, christened on 12 Feb 1815 in Constantine, Cornwall and died on 24 Jul 1907 at Chegwidden, Constantine, Cornwall, aged 92 years.)
