With him was his sister Bessie Williams, aged 43, born in England, widow, and her children Wilbur J. (19) of Montana, Irene F. (18) of Canada and Helen E. (11) of Montana.

In 1940 William Miles (51) of England, single, carpenter for building contractor, was with his sister Bessie Williams and her daughter Irene in San Francisco, San Francisco, California.
