In 1901 Thomas H. Miles, aged 22, born in Phillack Cornwall, tin miner, was with his parents in Mellanoweth, Phillack.

In 1911 Thomas Henry Miles, aged 33, born in Phillack, general labourer, and wife of 2 years Emily Miles, aged 28, born in Camborne Cornwall (no children), were living in Angarrack, Hayle, Cornwall.

In 1921 Thomas Henry Miles, aged 43 years 4 months, born in Phillack, inn keeper, and wife Emily Miles, aged 38 years 5 months, born in Gwithian Cornwall, home duties, were living in Angarrack, Hayle. With them was daughter Lilian (2y 9m) of Phillack.

Mr. T. H. Miles, Chacewater

The funeral of Mr. Thomas Henry Miles, aged 74, who died at his residence, Edenville, Greenbottom, Chacewater, took place at St. Paul's Church, Chacewater, on Saturday, the Vicar, the Rev. J. R. G. Martin, officiating. Before coming to Greenbottom, Mr. Miles, who was a native of Angarrack, Hayle, farmed at Coldharbour, Gwinear, and was also for many years an agent for the Cornish Meat and Provision Co., Ltd., Redruth. He is survived by a widow and daughter. Mourners were Mrs. L. Hill (daughter, also rep. Mrs. E. Miles, widow), Mr. R. Hill (grandson, also rep. Mr. F. J. Miles, Canada, brother), Mrs. A. A. James (niece, also rep. Miss K. Miles, Truro, and Mrs. B. Williams, U.S.A., sisters, and Mrs. F. J. Miles, Canada, sister-in-law), Mrs. W. White and Mrs. J. Uren (nieces), Messrs. A. A. James, J. Thomas married Emily Uren, daughter of Thomas Uren and Jane Symons, in 1908 in the Redruth District, Cornwall. (Emily Uren was born on 31 Jan 1882 in Roseworthy, Camborne, Cornwall and christened 19 Feb 1885 at Wesleyan-Methodist Circuit, Hayle, Cornwall.)
