In 1851 William Bennetts, aged 37, born in Crowen Cornwall, engine driver, and wife Nanny Bennetts, aged 36, born in Mabe Cornwall, were living in Johnson Square, Beerferris, Devon. With them were children (born in Beerferris) William (13), labourer in lead mine, John (11), labourer in lead mine, Thomas (8), scholar, Elizabeth (7), scholar, Mary J. (4), scholar, and James (2 months).

In May 1860 William Bennetts of St. Blazey in the county of Cornwall, miner, was granted Letters of Administration of his father's will, as lawful attorney of (his brother) Henry Bennetts, the son and the sole executor named in the said will.

In 1861 William Bennett, aged 47, born in Crowan, mine engine worker, and wife Nanny Bennett, aged 46, born in Mabe, were living in Turnpike Village, St. Blazey, Cornwall. With them were children (born in Beeralston Devon) William H. (23), mine engine worker, Thomas (19), tin miner, and Elizabeth (17), milliner.

In 1871 William Bennetts, aged 57, born in Crowan Cornwall, mine engine driver, and wife Nanny Bennetts, aged 54, born in Mabe Cornwall, were living in Turnpike Village, St. Blazey, Cornwall.

In 1881 William Bennetts, aged 66, born in Crowan Cornwall, engine driver (tin mine), and wife Nany Bennetts, aged 64, born in Mabe, were living in Turnpike Village, St. Blazey.

In 1891 William Bennett, aged 77, born in Crowan Cornwall, living on own means, and wife Ann Bennett, aged 75, born in Mabe, were living in Turnpike Village, St. Blazey.

William Vivian Bennetts of Par died aged 79 years (burial record).

  Marriage Information:

William married Nanny Brown Knuckey, daughter of Benjamin Knuckey and Elizabeth, on 16 Jan 1838 in Bere Ferrers, Devon, England. (Nanny Brown Knuckey was christened 4 Feb 1816 in Mabe, Cornwall and was buried on 16 May 1899 in Par, Cornwall, aged 83 years.)
