In 1832 Jane Vivian Branwell was named as a beneficiary of her father's will.

In 1851 Jane Vivian Branwell, aged 30, born in Penzance Cornwall, unmarried, was with her brother Richard Branwell at 9 High St., Mayfield, Sussex.

In September 1855 Jane Vivian Branwell was present at the marriage of her brother Richard Branwell to Ann Elliott Day in Hadlow Down, Sussex.

In 1881 Jane Vivian Branwell, aged 60, born in Penzance, single, governess, was servant to Joseph and Kate Mitchell at Bolton Hall, Bolton-upon-Dearne, Yorkshire.

In 1891 Jane V. Branwell, aged 70, born in Penzance, single, living on her own means, was at 15 Regent Terrace, Penzance. With her was sister Julia Branwell (64) of Penzance, living on her own means.
